It’s not often I get a chance to work with long lost friends but through the miracle of social networking I got back in touch with an old high school contemporary and we ended up working together. Lana Button is a talented actress, writer, and mom. She is in the stages up having her first children’s book released and is ramping up for promotion. This site and her willingness to embrace social media marketing should make her a household name in no time.

Last November Little Black Book - Real People Casting asked me to redesign and build their site for them. I was flattered that they wanted the design to resemble my own portfolio site. The original design I came up with was a marble desktop with a bunch of items that i thought might be on the desk top of a casting agent. They pushed back and wanted it a bit more simple. The above design is what they ended up going with. The design below was my original concept.

Below are a few projects I completed in the last few months for various talented audio artists. Being involved in this community first had I think gives me that extra pleasure when working on fellow artist’s projects.

Last summer I designed and devloped a site for the electronic music distribution company nice + smooth. In the fall they asked me to you a micro site for one of their premier artists DIN / Papka Frey

About a year ago I did a site for the virtual dj known as pashtun dj. After living with the site for about half a year we both decided that the original site was a little dark and did’nt reflect his light hearted approach to life and music. The above is where the new direction took us.

My fist Myspace band page hack is for the electro acoustic artist PLEASUREMACHINE

It was a nice change to do something for someone who is in the business of health and spirituality. Carolina at Total Equilibrium commissioned me to design a poster for her introduction to meditation class that she conducts. The top image is the one she chose - the bottom one is one that I like but it was a bit to edgy for what you wanted to accomplish.

Toronto based film production company Level Runner Films needed a way to give their projects an online presence and give access to the ever expanding world of cell phone and iPhone users. Using some features of Quicktime Pro we were able to achieve this seamlessly. The site at this point is a beta version, but we are in the process of gathering assets to add new features including a full mobile site. You can check out the site at www.levelrunnerfilms.com .

This past week I redesigned and developed rinonoto.com for award winning and renowned photographer Rino Noto. Rino has been a long standing client of mine and through the years we have worked together to present his work online in a constantly unique manner. In this version of his site I decided to strip out all the flash elements and go for a straight forward and SEO friendly design. www.rinonoto.com
